Rochelle began her singing career as a teenage 1960s pop singer when she released eight singles (16 tracks) on the HMV label, including two which became Top Ten hits, "My Boyfriend’s got a Beatle Haircut", and "I Like Your Kind of Love".

Rochelle was a presenter and singer on National Radio’s award winning childrens programme "Grampa’s Place", which ran for nine years and picked up numerous international awards: some of which can be seen below.

Her album Rochelle’s Place, co-written with writer Ruth Corrin, and produced by Kiwi-Pacific Records and Radio New Zealand, was backed by several members of the New Zealand National Orchestra, and has sold more than 3000 copies. Her newly released CD version of Rochelle’s Place is available to buy online here.

Her passion for teaching music to preschoolers has led to Rochelle setting up the "Rainbow Roadshow", where she sings and entertains children of all ages, for their birthdays, at their schools, or at major events.

Rochelle is a qualified primary school teacher, and a foundation member of the Child Alert Trust, which was formed to produce the video kit “Keeping Safe” and was released to all New Zealand preschools in 1992.

She has been involved in the production of a children’s musical CD, which helps to teach the values of kindness, caring, patience, and trust.
